itch.io review: rank 2 of our Top 10
8.5/10 editorial score
Verdict
itch.io is an open marketplace where anyone can publish a game, and creators set their own prices, including free and pay-what-you-want. It hosts a steady calendar of game jams, and a large share of projects run directly in the browser, which makes it a good place to sample unusual ideas.
Best for: odd, personal and experimental games.
