GOG review: rank 3 of our Top 10
8.3/10 editorial score
Verdict
GOG sells games without DRM, so a purchase can be saved as a standalone offline installer. Its preservation work patches older titles to run on current systems, and the GOG Galaxy client is optional rather than mandatory. The store offers a 30-day refund window.
Best for: owning your games outright.
